This ball is the size used by grade school teams. It is an outdoor ball so it may be a little heavier. Make sure you have an air pump and air gauge to get the pressure and size right.
I actually thought it would be of better quality but I am happy with it. I mean it is what was advertised. The ball has the feel of a rubbery material instead of leather but you can't go wrong with the price. My son is 7 years old and this is a greatbstarter ball for him.
